Data Extraction and Transformation Service
If all you do is export your EDIS data to a BI tool, your metrics will be skewed by “outlier” or dirty data and it will only be a subset of the data you really need to measure and manage your Emergency Department. EMBI aggregates and verifies data from multiple sources (i.e. EDIS, Billing, Doctor and Nurse Hours, Patient Satisfaction, etc.).
EMBI's data cleansing process and algorithms extract bad data from the source databases based on criteria you set. Use your outlier data to identify the operational or compliance issues causing it and implement corrective action to resolve the issues.
